Dr. Mehmet Akdemir

Dr. Mehmet Akdemir is a multidisciplinary medical technology strategist who makes different scientific languages talk to each other. His background in anesthesiology and reanimation — the specialty that watches the heart, brain, lungs and cellular metabolism from a single screen — gives him a systemic mastery of physiology and pharmacology, which he integrates with AI and advanced medical technologies.

He is the founder of CybernicX (Cyber Robotic Center) and brought the HAL (Hybrid Assistive Limb) system to Türkiye in partnership with CYBERDYNE Inc. He works with Japan's most established science ecosystems, including RIKEN and Kyoto University's CiRA, having earned the trust of Japan's selective, relationship-driven medical community through the clinical vision he presented there.

At the core of his vision lies the 'N-of-1' personalized medicine philosophy: understanding every patient through their own biology and designing treatment individually. He is among Türkiye's pioneers of personalized cancer vaccine approaches aimed at reducing recurrence risk after solid-tumor surgery.

Under 2D Healthcare, he leads Turkish patients' safe, accredited journey to Japan's advanced cancer treatments (CAR-T, iPSC, BNCT, heavy ion, proton, personalized vaccines). He leads the CybernicX Future summits and is the founder of Only You and NorBilim.
