How does it work?
Carbon ions accelerated to 70% of light speed deposit almost all their energy at the tumor's depth (Bragg peak). Surrounding tissue receives minimal dose while the tumor is hit with a high dose.

Treatment course
Short courses from 1 day to 3 weeks depending on indication; most patients are treated as outpatients with daily sessions.
After treatment
A control imaging plan is provided at the end of the course; a follow-up protocol is set up in Türkiye.
